About this event
The Amy Winehouse Band Presented by Dubai Opera in collaboration with Proactiv Entertainment. Step back into the music of Amy Winehouse with a live celebration featuring the musicians who performed alongside her throughout her career. Led by Amy’s long-time musical director, bassist and close friend Dale Davis, The Amy Winehouse Band brings together original musicians who performed with her on stages around the world and contributed to her distinctive sound both live and in the studio. As Back to Black marks its 20th anniversary, the concert revisits the songs that continue to resonate with audiences today. A powerful female vocalist, personally selected by Dale Davis, leads the band through music from Frank, Back to Black and Lioness: Hidden Treasures. Expect fan favourites including “Rehab”, “Valerie”, “Back to Black”, “Love Is a Losing Game” and “Tears Dry on Their Own”, performed live by musicians who were part of Amy’s musical journey. With the original band at the heart of the evening, the concert offers a direct connection to Amy Winehouse’s music and the musicians who helped bring it to life. Join us at Dubai Opera on 8 October for an emotional and uplifting evening celebrating the songs that made Amy Winehouse unforgettable.
