Chicago Musical Event Live in Dubai
About this event
- Chicago is the iconic Broadway musical that continues to captivate audiences worldwide, celebrated for its timeless score, electrifying choreography, and unforgettable storytelling. Described by The Times as “the most exciting musical of its generation,” this legendary production remains one of the most successful and longest-running musicals in theatre history. This December, the razzle-dazzle comes to Coca-Cola Arena, as Chicago takes the stage from 16 December to 20 December, with 8 spectacular performances, brought to you by Marquee Global Events and Orbis Global Events. Set in the roaring Jazz Age, Chicago unfolds in a city where fame is the ultimate prize and scandal makes headlines. At its heart are two fiercely ambitious women: Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer with dreams of stardom, and Velma Kelly, a vaudeville star whose notoriety keeps her in the spotlight. As both women find themselves behind bars awaiting trial for murder, they battle for public attention, manipulating the media, the justice system, and anyone in their path to achieve celebrity status. Packed with iconic songs including All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, and Razzle Dazzle, the show is a dazzling spectacle of sharp satire, seductive performances, and Broadway brilliance. With its mix of drama, dark humor, and sensational choreography, Chicago promises an unforgettable theatrical experience for audiences in the UAE this festive season.
