Alone in the Universe at Jumeirah Beach Hotel

About this event

Alone in the Universe at Jumeirah Beach Hotel What if one unexpected discovery could change everything? An ordinary evening. An ordinary apartment. Ordinary people who are convinced they know everything about one another. But the moment Phyllis finds her best friend’s name in her husband’s address book, a quiet evening spirals into an emotional whirlwind of suspicion, confessions, jealousy, absurd excuses, and unexpected revelations. What is more frightening than infidelity? Discovering the truth about yourself. Alone in the Universe is a brilliant comedy filled with sparkling dialogue and razor-sharp humour. The play explores how easily our illusions can fall apart—and how difficult it is to be honest with the people we love. This is a story about love and loneliness. About marriage and friendship. About how difficult it is to be honest with the people we love — and even more difficult to be honest with ourselves. Starring acclaimed theatre and film actors: Kristina Babushkina Artyom Tkachenko Ekaterina Stulova Maxim Litovchenko Alexandra Milyoshina Alone in the Universe is a play about all of us — our weaknesses, our hopes, our fears, and our endless desire to be happy.
